We love Oak Island. We love the ocean. We love the outdoors. Combine these passions, and you get OKI Bike & Paddle Company. Our mission is to share the best outdoor experiences with visitors and locals across Oak Island, Caswell Beach and Southport.

While any new adventure can be intimidating to take on for the first time, we at OKI Bike & Paddle believe that pairing quality instruction, high-end equipment and an understanding of the conditions will result in an adventure to remember. With a wide range of equipment in our fleet, we can accommodate just about anyone, regardless of age or size.

Our Philosophy

Quality Instruction: Our goal is to provide a great customer experience, which starts with helpful instruction prior to to any activity. This is why we offer the following:

• Free video tutorials, showing you the fundamentals for every rental.

• Free group clinics where participants receive instruction and have the opportunity to try our equipment.

• Individual or group lessons, where we tailor our advice to your specific needs.

High-End Equipment: Quality gear = safe, stable riding

• We are advocates of quality gear because it makes a big impact on your overall experience. That’s why we rent and sell equipment from some of the best brands in the business - Pedego, BOTE, Hyperlite, Retrospec, etc.

• As part of our booking process, we ask a series of questions to ensure you’re getting paired with the appropriate gear to accommodate your height, weight and skill level.

Understanding the Conditions: Location, temperature, tides, wind and more - there’s a lot to consider but we break it all down for you so you can just have a good time.

• Upon booking, you’ll receive a comprehensive breakdown of the locations for various activities along with how the conditions that impact each of them. Without this information, you could find yourself in an undesirable situation.
